The video producer by theHolism also known as Barry Sewell posted on social networking for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. There are pejorative term out there known as 'white trash' and 'black trash' that led me to think about the existence of 'Deaf Trash' within the Deaf community and social networking.Is it the reason why places like DeafVideo.tv. has become what it is today, attracting socially isolated and financially poor Deaf people with low social skills and living standards? Thus the birth of 'Deaf Trash' made visible for the rest of the world to see? It seem to be my greatest fear but then I know it's probably beyond me...meaning it is something I simply can't control.
However, it does not stop me from fellowshipping with hope that we'd be able to educate them and help them rise to a new level. But the boiling question is, do I belong there and become one of them? The answer is yes. Ask yourself the same question and think about it.
