Deaf Baby 'Sings' With Dad In ASL Goes Viral

This incredibly sweet video of New Jersey dad singing to Deaf daughter is going viral all over social media.

KEARNY, New Jersey -- A Deaf father from New Jersey has been garnering national attention for a video showing him signing the classic "If You're Happy And You Know It" for his clearly delighted Deaf daughter Bayleigh.

The 13-second video trended on YouTube and was picked up by the "Today" show website and People.com, among other outlets over the last week.

Kevin Nadrowski, who was born Deaf but who tells Today that his family "had no idea what to do with me," encourages hearing parents to learn American Sign Language and teach it to their children very early, which can increase the rate of verbal development and improves cognitive and emotional development.

"I feel great about it," Nadrowski tells People of the video. "Lots of people face challenges in life and hopefully through my video, they can say, 'If this deaf father can sing a song in American Sign Language with his Deaf daughter, the sky is not limited."

Nadrowski is separated from Bayleigh's mother Jessica Schwabe, but she tells People that Nadrowski "always brings out the best for Bayleigh ... Seeing this video is showing not only me, but the world, that they are an inspiration and their love only grows stronger with time."

Military Dad Surprises Deaf Daughter at School

WATCH: Deaf News - The U.S. military David Opperman surprises her daughter at school for the Deaf goes viral on social media.

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- One family had a good cry on Wednesday when a soldier surprised his teenage daughter after six months of being deployed.

Tech Sgt. David Opperman caught 13-year-old Amber off-guard when showed up at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in the midst of their Skype session.

"She's basically saying [in the video], 'I can't believe you're here. I missed you so much,'" mom Yvet Opperman said, translating her daughter's sign language. "Me, I was teary eyed. I almost couldn't control myself. It was an emotional day, overall."

Yvet of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, told ABC News today that her husband David had been overseas since October.

The separation had been tough for her and their three children, she said.

"Especially for Amber being Deaf -- that's her first actual separation that she's known of since she's been born," Yvet explained.

Since David was returning home, he and Yvet planned to surprise their youngest daughter as she was Skyping with her father at school.

"Amber thought she was going to be surprising dad by bringing me into the video," Yvet said. "In actuality, he was in the next room over -- waiting to come in. We turned the tables."

Yvet filmed David putting Amber on hold during their Skype chat. Moments later, Amber was in tears as she saw her dad walk into her classroom.

The pair exchanged multiple hugs and signed at each other.

"They just continued talking and we took her home early," Yvet said. "[David] was just happy to be home and back with the family."

Signing Santa To Make Girl's Wish Come True

MIDDLESBROUGH -- "Mali" Phoenix Williams-Cody, aged 3, has visited the Cleveland Centre's special event days several times. Mali's parents have some great photos of her at Halloween as well as Christmas. She came with her mum on Saturday to meet Santa Claus.

Mali is not Deaf, she struggles to communicate with speech and language. She has been attending a special school to help with her communication and this is were she learned sign language.

As seen in the video, Santa asked Mali’s mum if she could sign and touched hearts all over the world when he sprung in to action signing to Mali if she wanted a doll for Christmas. Her reaction is priceless and touched all of us who witnessed it live. Mali's parents were so pleased they could capture such a special moment and share it with the world."

Boycott Wells Fargo Ad 'Learning Sign Language'

Franklin Graham calls for Christian boycott of Wells Fargo for featuing lesbian moms, who learns American Sign Language their advertiser.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Rev. Franklin Graham is changing which bank his organizations will use because he objects to a lesbian couple and their Deaf daughter who appears in a Wells Fargo ad.

Graham is calling on Christians to boycott corporations that promote homosexuality, and says he will do his part by moving all of his ministries' money out of Wells Fargo.

Graham says he is not targeting companies that hire or serve gay and lesbian customers because that's a part of doing business. But he said he wants Christians to stop giving their money to businesses that use their advertising dollars to promote homosexuality. Graham is the CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse.

He says one way Christians can speak out is by not doing business with those who he says promote sin and stand against God's laws.

A spokesperson for Wells Fargo says the bank has proudly supported the LGBT community for a long time and the advertisement reflects the company's values.

The Charlotte Observer reports that accounts for Graham’s ministries could total in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Graham says he plans to publicize a list of companies that feature same-sex couples in their advertising.

A spokesman for North Carolina-based BB&T, a statewide LGBT rights group based in Raleigh said Graham is on the losing side of moral history.

Arizona Mom & Deaf Daughter Upset With UPS

Glendale mom and Deaf daughter upset with UPS. She and her daughter never received it and she can't get anyone to at UPS to help her.

GLENDALE, Arizona -- Katelyn Nerhood is an affectionate little 9-year-old girl who happens to be Deaf. But that doesn't keep her from communicating with the people she loves, like her mom, Melody Nerhood. "Her world is different than ours," says Nerhood. "I mean, she can't hear our conversations. She can't hear music. She can't hear TV."

Nerhood says her daughter suffers from a disorder called CHARGE Syndrome. The disorder, she says, has left her Katelyn completely deaf and her vision partially impaired.

But, like most nine year olds, Katelyn still loves to play games and have fun. That's exactly why Melody bought her daughter a device called the Nabi2, which is supposed to help kids learn and have fun at the same time.

Melody says her daughter had the device for about a year. However, two months ago when it stopped working, she mailed it back, and Nabi sent her another one. Nabi used United Parcel Service, commonly referred to as UPS, for shipping. But Melody says she and her daughter never received it and she can't get anyone to at UPS to help her.

"Nobody ever contacts me," she says. "I just keep getting the runaround."

UPS sent Melody an email notice indicating they successfully delivered the gadget way back in June and left it in the "rear entrance."

UPS even lists the date, time and address of the delivery. However, when looking at the UPS email, they clearly document the wrong numerical address. Instead of delivering it to Nerhood's town home, UPS misread the address and left it all the way on the other side of her complex at the "rear entrance" of a completely different home.
