Sign with us choir become first Golden Buzzer act of series with emotional performance of "This Is Me" goes viral.

LONDON, United Kingdom -- Sign With Us became the first act of the year to get a Golden Buzzer on this series of Britain’s Got Talent.

The choir, lead by siblings Jade and Christian, put on a stirring performance to "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman.

Judge David Walliams, clearly impressed, pressed his Golden Buzzer, sending them straight through the live semi-finals.

‘Every one of you gave an amazing performance,’ David admitted. ‘All I can say is…’ He then pressed his Golden Buzzer and everyone basically just burst into tears.

Amanda Holden, weeping openly, added: ‘That song is such an anthem for people who maybe don’t feel part of the world - or part of anything - and I just found it really, really moving. It was brilliant.’

Boasting 37 kids and 28 adults ranging from four to 58-years-old, Sign With Us is easily one of the most moving acts Britain’s Got Talent has ever seen.

The line-up of the act was also surprising for Syco mogul Simon as he recognised a previous Pride of Britain winner who clearly took his advice to audition for the show to heart.

‘I have to confess I have a friend of mine in this choir,’ grins Simon. ‘Ella. I heard Ella sing and said, “One day I have a feeling you’re going to be auditioning in one of our shows”, and guess what? You’re here.

‘You’re saying this is me, but this is us. This is what Britain’s Got Talent should be all about. This is an audition I will never forget.’

Founders Jade and Christian will also be familiar to viewers as they also previously popped up on an episode of The Russell Howard Show.

Jade initially learnt sign language in order to communicate with her brother, who is severely disabled and is now campaigning for it to be taught in schools to help others across the country.

During the programme, we saw evidence of this, as Jade encouraged Christian to sign along to some popular songs, including Lewis Capaldi’s chart-topping hit Someone You Loved.

We think we can all agree that their message has been well and truly spread to the nation. And no, we’re not crying…you are!

Deaf Drag Queen On Belgium's Got Talent

Lola McQueen is the first Deaf drag queen in the world with a Golden buzzer on Belgium's Got Talent 2019.

BRUSSELS -- Deaf drag queen Lola McQueen 31, audition for Belgium’s Got Talent. Lola McQueen slays lip sync leaves audiences and judges speechless.

Lola McQueen blew the judges of Belgium's Got Talent away when he performed ‘A Million Dreams’ by P!nk. He received a golden buzzer after one of the judges was moved to tears by his performance.

Lola McQueen was born Deaf, but that did not hold his back from chasing his dreams. “Being Deaf is an enrichment for me, I would not have it any other way. It maybe sounds weird, but I can say this having been through a lot in my life. I have been bullied and people always told me I couldn’t perform. I have been able to fulfil all my dreams, because I believe people shouldn’t decide what I can do. I am the one who decides that,” McQueen told the judges.

This is the second act performed by Lola McQueen on Belgium's Got Talent.

He got an Golden buzzer from the viewers at home and from judge Stan Van Samang. Thank you everyone for support and believe in Lola McQueen for his successfully on Belgium's Got Talent.

Although being Deaf, McQueen is able to lip sync by feeling the vibrations of the music. His performance left the judges speechless. “This was amazing. I think it was incredible,” judge Stan Van Samang told McQueen.

'America's Got Talent' Deaf Singer Mandy Harvey

Deaf singer, Mandy Harvey inspires America's Got Talent judges and earns Golden Buzzer.

LOS ANGELES, California -- America's Got Talent 2017, Mandy Harvey, Deaf singer follows her dreams and earns a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell with her original song "Try." The original video clip is already going viral in Deaf and Hard of Hearing community across the country and globe.

In the clip, which aired on Tuesday night’s episode of the show, Mandy Harvey, a contestant, spoke through a sign language interpreter to one of the show’s judges, Simon Cowell, and described becoming Deaf in her late teens because of complications from a health issue.

“After I lost my hearing, I gave up,” she said. “But I want to do more with my life than just give up.” She explained that after a period of not performing, she learned how to sing again by using tools such as “visual tuners”, and added that she performs without wearing shoes so she can feel a song’s beat through floor vibrations.

She then broke into a song that she wrote, “Try.” The judges and some audience members appeared visibly shocked by her lucid notes; some could be seen wiping away tears. At the end of the clip, Mr. Cowell hit a golden buzzer, sending Ms. Harvey to the show’s next round. Music swelled as Mr. Cowell, known for his grumpy demeanor, joined Ms. Harvey onstage to tell her that her performance “was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen and heard.”

The clip gained traction online after it aired, and was trending on YouTube on Thursday, where commenters showered Ms. Harvey with accolades. On Twitter, some users predicted her as the winner of the show. Celebrities including Tyra Banks chimed in:

Though the show may well make Ms. Harvey famous, it isn’t the first outlet to discover her talent. NBC Nightly News profiled the singer, who has released several albums, in 2015, as did the BBC, this spring. And she has performed in prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center.

“I sing to encourage other people; that’s what makes me happy,” she told the BBC in its feature on her. “My passion, the whole reason why I sing, is so that I can say, ‘Hey, this is what I’ve done; I really hope that I can encourage you to do the same.’”
