MANILA, Philippines -- Spotify teamed up with Starkey Hearing Foundation to give Deaf people across the Philippines the chance to hear for the first time.
A new video, created by streaming service Spotify and hearing aids manufacturer Starkey Hearing Foundation, captures the incredible moment that the men and women, who live in Puerto Princesa, one of the poorest areas in the Philippines, are made able to hear sounds, after being given new, very sensitive hearing aids.
The four-minute clip follows each of the participants as they go about their day-to-day lives, while they explain how being Deaf has affected them and their families.
