Miss Deaf Germany 2014, Quality for Mister and Miss Deaf International.
On March 29, the choice to Miss Deaf Germany in 2014 took place in Berlin. 18 young women from Germany, Switzerland and Austria presented a prominent jury. During a small talent show in bikini and evening gown three passes were to deny stood firm until the morning around 3 clock the winners.

Im Rahmen einer kleinen Talentshow, im Bikini und im Abendkleid waren drei Durchgänge zu bestreiten, bis morgens gegen 3 Uhr die Siegerinnen feststanden.

10,000 Deaf people protested in Berlin for equal rights and participation in the German society at by the Federal Parliament.

25 years ago, on 17 June 1988 the European Parliament decided that the respective national sign language should be recognized as full-fledged language in all Member States of the European Community.
Due to the prolonged struggle of the Deaf community and the support of many politicians the respective sign language is now recognized in most countries of the European Union and the Deaf fellow citizens have the right of access to information in their native language. However, there are still countries where the national sign language is not recognized, and in Germany there are still many situations in which Deaf people, despite the recognition of sign language, equal access to institutions of public life is denied.
With the demonstration of "action sign language" grab those affected exactly this topic, and want to show that the German sign language even though she is 11 years officially recognized in Germany, is not yet considered in all aspects as a matter of course. Deaf Tattoo Convention in Berlin, Germany in International Sign.
The first International Deaf Tattoo Convention of the world was held in Berlin. Twelve tattoo artists from many countries took part. More than 900 visitors came to Berlin-Weißensee.
It was great to attend the convention. We have learned a lot and made new experiences. For example, it is not "Deaf and Dumb", but "Deaf". Es war toll, die Convention zu besuchen. Wir haben einiges gelernt und neue Erfahrungen gemacht. Zum Beispiel, das es nicht "Taubstumm", sondern "Gehörlos" heißt. Die Anmoderation haben wir ganz am Anfang gedreht und leider vergessen, es noch einmal zu wiederholen. Aber so erfahren wenigstens noch mehr Zuschauer, wie es richtig heißt. Die 2. Deaf Tattoo Convention wird übrigens im September 2014 in Paris stattfinden.
