HOLLYWOOD -- The YouTube series of star-studded cemeteries produced by Arthur Dark are becoming must-see tombstone tourism.

It was almost like Arthur Dark was born for this.

He’s got the voice, the passion, video editing chops, research skills, the look - and the vocabulary that lends to entertaining (and respectful) YouTube tours of notable graveyards around Los Angeles and the country.

"The curtain is drawn, the credits have rolled -- Still the stars burn ever brightly."

Filmmaker Arthur Dark and composer Giusppe Vasapolli take you on a journey of remembrance in their Famous Grave Tour videos.

Amassing over 100,000 subscribers since it’s debut in 2017, Dark’s Hollywood Graveyard channel is one of the most popular series of its type online.

We had a chance to ask him about our local cemeteries, the diversity of sizes and styles of celebrity gravestones, and what’s the deal with unmarked graves.

What got you interested in documenting graveyards on YouTube?

It was a combination of many things: combined interests in entertainment, Hollywood history and a dash of the macabre.

Initially, I just found visiting famous graves myself fascinating, being able to connect with and pay my respects to individuals whose work I knew and loved. And in connecting with individuals I already knew, I would be introduced to new ones along the way, introduced to them, and their work - movies, TV shows, music, writings, etc., opening me up to an as-of-yet untapped mine of entertainment. I was delving much deeper into the history of Hollywood and entertainment, and in doing so, broadening my own horizons, so to speak.

These were experiences I was sure others would enjoy, and appreciate, but it’s not always easy (or possible) to find famous graves. So I sought to find ways to make tombstone tourism more accessible, make it less intimidating, easier to find the graves of these notable individuals, or if not possible to visit them in person, allow audiences to visit them “virtually” through video tours. Bad Lip Reading - 'NFL 2020'

More stuff that could have been said, celebrating 100 years of The NFL.

The Super Bowl may be over, but we're just now getting to our favorite football event of the year: the NFL Bad Lip Reading.

The Bad Lip Reading YouTube channel excels at making it seem like real people are saying the darndest things, and the channel has been uploading NFL Bad Lip Readings since 2013.

This year's montage gives us New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady saying, "I hate cats. Why they gotta pee in the little tub?" And if that alone doesn't sell you, you can also watch a referee say, "Your face is a face I've been avoiding for seven years. If I have to look back at it, I'll break down for sure."

Thankfully, coaches and fans are not immune from the Bad Lip Reading treatment. And don't worry, there are plenty of highlights of Super Bowl champ Patrick Mahomes, even if they're not the kind we're used to seeing him in.

You Might Be Buying Trash On Amazon

Why your Amazon purchase could come from the garbage dumpsters.

NEW YORK CITY -- Wall Street Journal investigation finds Amazon.com selling actual “dumpster trash.” Some Amazon third-party sellers sell second-hand products as new on the site-some even claim to sell products they found while digging through garbage dumpsters. The Wall Street Journal set out to test their claims by setting up an Amazon storefront and gathering some trash.

Items you purchase on Amazon.com that you think are new might actually have been packaged by dumpster divers who scour trash bins to find food items they can repackage and sell on Amazon, a shocking Wall Street Journal investigation has found. The bombshell investigation reveals that Amazon.com is literally selling dumpster trash as “new” food and dietary supplements.

“Late one night several days before the store opened, reporters with flashlights and blue latex gloves visited Clifton, Clark and Paramus, N.J., scouring dumpsters behind outlets such as a Michaels craft store and a Trader Joe’s grocery,” reports the WSJ. “The bins were a humid mess of broken glass and smashed boxes, a stench of rot in the air. Several products were in original packaging, some soiled with coffee grounds, moldy blackberries or juice from a bag of chicken thighs.”

Among the trash, WSJ reporters found a jar of discarded lemon curd from Trader Joe’s. The Journal cleaned and packed the three items—bubble-wrapping and taping the curd jar—and mailed them to an Amazon warehouse in Pennsylvania in September and October. The Journal completed Amazon’s documentation requirements by specifying the items’ universal product codes, the numbers next to bar codes on most products. In non-video making life, Drew Binsky said "This is a very touching story about one of the strongest friendships I've ever witnessed -- between a girl named Amni and a girl named Chia Wei, who come from the amazing country of Malaysia."

"Amni was born with about a 60% hearing loss, but Chia Wei didn't know it until the girls were 21 years old, when Amni had gone almost completely Deaf. As a linguistics major, Chia Wei was already learning Sign Language before she knew that Amni was Deaf and the rest is history. HearAid Foundation: Giving Deaf kids the chance to hear when health insurance fails.

NBC Left Field: Mary and Wes Rinella are Deaf. While Mary was raised with American Sign Language (ASL), Wes learned speech with hearing aids, and now they want to give their three Deaf children the chance to choose which language they prefer. The problem? Hearing aids aren’t covered by health insurance.

Health insurance in California, and at around $4,000 a pair, they’re too expensive to buy out of pocket. That’s where Tanya Penn and the HearAid Foundation step in since 2011 they’ve given out 270 hearing aids to families in need.

Controversy: Danny's skits video is accused of plagiarism from Deafies in Drag on YouTube.

The Deaf comedy duo, cheekily nicknamed "Deafies in Drag," has been making YouTube videos covering a range of topics, even they speak out about copyright, plagiarism and cultural which they claims Danny's Skits Video's lack of a unique vision and plagiarism has left Deaf community despondent and rudderless.

The duo's thoughts and speaks out about the "Danny's Skits Video" and wrote the settlement on their Facebook:

"Hello everyone, today I want you to read this carefully: No negativity or insults to anyone. Let's have an open dialogue on how we can prevent plagiarism and cultural appropriation through media.

We want to keep Deaf community accountable: if you see a person copying someone else's content or yours, say something. I applaud to some people for correcting our mistakes in the past, it helped us improve better and I want the same for others with this topic.

Cultural appropriation: a concept dealing with the adoption of the elements of a minority culture by members of the dominant culture.

This is a message for Danny and his mother, we all have tried to ask you to create your own content for years and to please remove that video "Worst Interpreters" and the rest are yours.

For Danny's supporters, please kindly let him know this and hopefully he can produce his own content and style for you all.

I wish nothing but the best for Danny, I just want Danny to do it the right way without harming others. Thank you!"

Watch the hilarious 'Bad Lip Reading's "Interrogating Zuckerberg", tension mounted during Mark Zuckerberg's congressional hearings.

On April 10th and 11th, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg was grilled by Congress for 10 hours total, in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

Deaf Women Sings On Ireland's Got Talent

Deaf signing choir leaves judges speechless on Ireland's Got Talent.

DUBIN, Ireland -- A choir with seven Deaf members and two Hearing singers are set to wow the audience and judges on Ireland's Got Talent this weekend.

The Deaftones are a choir from Holy Family School of the Deaf in Dublin and among the members are three sisters, two of whom are Deaf and one who is the only hearing member of her family.

They tackle Ed Sheeran's Photograph on the show with the two hearing girls singing and the eleven Deaf members signing.

The group range in age from 13-39 years old and they experience music in a variety of different ways, including sensing sound through vibrations and lip reading.

"They all hear music in different ways," explains their teacher Shirley Higgins. "Some of them hear the music and the words, some of them hear just the music, and some of them hear nothing at all."

Deaf Choir Deaftones performs John Lennon´s "Imagine" - Semi-Final 2.

The choir began seven years ago and recently brought the two hearing members on board, because "we wanted to show how hearing and Deaf communities can mix, how they live in two worlds and how they can be the same as anyone else."

Judges Denise Van Outen and Louis Walsh are particularly affected by the performance.

Ireland’s Got Talent airs on Saturday 17th February at 7.30pm, followed by Ireland’s Got Mór Talent at 8.30pm on the Ireland’s Got Talent from TV3.

Bride Signs Wedding Song To Deaf Groom

Deaf man bursts into tears when bride-to-be signs wedding song.

SYDNEY -- Standing at the opposite end of the wedding aisle, bride Elizabeth Shoesmith of Australia, signed the words to Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years' to her husband Scott Shoesmith.

Signing the song was a special gift for her Deaf husband. "Scott just burst into tears when he saw me," Elizabeth said. "I wanted to surprise him."

Harvard University channel on YouTube share a video of Antoine Hunter, a founder of Urban Jazz Dance Company in San Francisco and producer of the Bay Area Deaf International Dance Festival, brings a joy of movement and a mission of artistic leadership in an inspiring masterclass.

Deaf Baby Girl Hears Mom's Voice For First Time

Adorable moment Deaf baby girl cries with joy after hearing her mother's voice for the first time goes viral on social media.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va -- WAVY: Charly was born profoundly Deaf and this is her response to hearing aids. "My baby hears me for the first time and is almost moved to tears!" Charly's her mother Christy Keane said.

It’s a viral video that’s melting hearts around the world -- a Deaf baby from Virginia Beach hearing her Mom’s voice for the first time.

Christy Keane never imagined the reaction that would come from sharing a special family moment on her Instagram page.

She posted it last Thursday, the day two month old Charly got hearing aids. It has now been viewed more than 12 million times.

“That connection in our eyes at that moment I can’t even put into words because its unexplainable” Mom, Christy Keane told WAVY.com. “I know she was feeling what I was feeling in my heart at the same time.”

The Keane home has been full of emotions since Charly was born in August. They had no hint of a hearing loss during Christy’s pregnancy.

“The reason we found out is because Virginia has a great early screening program where, at 24 hours of life, they do a hearing screen on the babies and, she failed.”

Christy had never met a Deaf person until her daughter. Now she’s exploring sign language and googling cochlear implants.

Cochlear implants are different than hearing aids, which amplify sound. Cochlear implants do the work of the damaged inner ear.

Charly will get them closer to her first birthday. That’s the FDA approved age.

For now, the hearing aids are helping her prepare body prepare for the implant.

Charly’s doctor’s with Eastern Virginia Medical School and Children’s Hospital Of The King’s Daughters got the hearing aids for free through the Virginia hearing aid loan bank.

Christy says every morning when she puts them in it is a miracle. The smiles she gets from Charly are just like the first time.
